NHL Anaheim Ducks make the playoffs

April 10th the NHL Anaheim Ducks were able to hold onto the post season with a shootout win over the Dallas Stars in overtime at the Honda Center in Southern California. Goalie Jonas Hiller made 42 saves, Teemu Selanne scored the deciding goal with a great move made for the Finnish Flash highlight reel and Francois Beauchemin returns to the ice after surgery earlier this season.

April 4, 2009: The NHL Los Angeles Kings announced former ice hockey players Rogie Vachon, Marcel Dionne, Dave Taylor, Wayne Gretzky and Luc Robitaille on the ice in honor of Lou McClary who was in charge of team security for 42 years before retiring at the end of this season. A very special night!

2009 USC Trojans NFL Pro Timing Day at Cromwell Field on Campus at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where 17 former college football players did drills outside for scouts, agents, NFL managers and media in preparation for the upcoming NFL Draft where the school's linebackers and quarterback are expected to get picked up in the first round.
